Date: Saturday, Oct. 2 10 am-1 pm
Location: SVBF North – Sri Sharadamba Temple, 26325 Halsted Road, north of Eleven Mile Road, Farmington Hills 48331. The vaccine will be administered inside the Temple Community Hall
 
The clinic is offered through a partnership with Sri Sharadamba Temple, Mai Family Services and Menard Pharmacy.

Wayne County Health Department Offers Booster Shot Clinics
The Wayne County Health Department is offering free Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine booster shots to immunocompromised residents at the following sponsored vaccine sites:
Pfizer Vaccine

  • Henry Ford Centennial Library, Dearborn; Monday-Saturday, 9 am-7 pm
  • Maplewood Community Center, Garden City; Monday-Saturday, 9 am-7 pm
  • Wayne County Community College, Belleville and Taylor campuses; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 am-3 pm
  • Flat Rock Community Center; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 am-3 pm
  • Lincoln Park Community Center; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 am-3 pm

Moderna Vaccine
  • Wayne County Community College - Harper Woods Campus; Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, 9 am-4:30 pm
  • Schoolcraft College, Livonia; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 am-3 pm

Walk-in vaccinations are available to residents at Wayne County clinics for both initial shots and boosters. Appointments as well as arrangements for in-home booster for homebound residents can be made by calling 1-866-610-3885 or text "WAYNE VAX" to 48355.

Immunocompromised individuals seeking a booster should wait at least 28 days after receiving their second vaccine dose before obtaining a third shot. Individuals should get a booster dose of the same vaccine as their previous vaccination. Boosters for the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine are not approved at this time.
Booster vaccines also are available at many Wayne County health providers, local pharmacies and major grocery chain stores by appointment and walk-up.
