Edenderry Traffic Calming Measures
Several residents have requested the township
endorse traffic calming measures on Edenderry Drive, between
Pickford and Seven Mile Road. The township has performed a
traffic study of this area and concluded that speed control measures
may be warranted.
If implemented, the control device (tabletop)
would consist of a raised asphalt surface transitioning to a 3"
height over 6 feet and maintaining that height for 10 feet before
transitioning back to the original grade over another 6 feet.
A drawing of the tabletop (two-way) is identified to the right as
are the locations for three devices.
In addition to the traffic study supporting
this conclusion, the township must obtain significant support from
the residents to obtain approval from Wayne County. Please
