CPR Classes
If a loved one suddenly went into cardiac arrest would you know
what to do? If the right equipment was available would you know how to
use it?
- Almost 80 percent of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur at
home and are witnessed by a family member
- Only 6.4 percent of sudden cardiac arrest victims survive
because the vast majority of those witnessing the arrest are
people who do not know how to perform CPR
The Northville Township Fire Department now offers CPR classes for
the community. Let us teach you, your family members, your
babysitters, or even Scout Troops how to react in an emergency
situation. Our CPR certified instructors will be able to teach you the
correct techniques, in adult CPR, Infant/child CPR, and airway
emergencies. Classes can also be arranged to teach students how to
operate Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s), or even basic first
aid.
If you are interested in attending a class please call the Fire
Headquarters at (248) 348-5807.
Child Safety Seat Inspection
Are you children riding safe? Did you know that it is estimated
that over 70% of child restraints are installed incorrectly? Let our
child passenger safety technicians assist you in making sure your
child seats are installed correctly. Inspections by appointment only.
Call the Fire Headquarters at (248) 348-5807 to set up your
appointment.
