The Engineering Department is a division of the Public Services
Department. Its main goal is to provide administration of
following codes; design and construction, grading and drainage and
detention pond maintenance.
The Engineering Department is responsible for ensuring the
infrastructure design and construction activities taking place within
the township are meeting the Townships standards.
The Engineering Department is also responsible for ensuring
compliance to NPDES Phase II storm water requirements. This
includes educating our residents on ways to prevent contamination of
our lakes and streams as well as providing inspection services for the
existing storm water detention ponds.
The Engineering Department acts as technical staff for various
township departments as well as our residents. An example
includes providing residential plot plan reviews and grading
inspections for the Building Department.
